What is Team Scarlet?
TEXAS HOLD’EM. VIRTUAL OFFICES. DAILY STAND UPS AND GOAL SETTING.
Some people take Poker more seriously then others. And when it comes to serious, we are full throttle. Grinding at online poker is a lonesome endeavor. With technology today, it doesn’t have to be.
My name is Bryan and I’m currently looking for 4 to 5 team members to collaborate on a daily 3pm – midnight basis (EST time, but definitely flexible based on team’s needs) Thursday to Monday.
I am a Texas Hold’em player and right now I grind @ microstakes and play alot of freerolls and place ITM semi-frequently. When I do have a bankroll I play $2.20 to $15 tournies and PKO’s and sometimes place ITM. I also plan on grinding more at .01/.02 and .02/.05 until I build a bankroll and skillset to support higher stakes.
The plan is to use VR googles like the Oculus Quest 2 to join a virtual office space like Immersed or Horizon Workrooms. The videos below display the technology. My headset was $400.
We would then grind on a daily basis from our virtual office with virtual avatars and the ability to communicate in real time with each other. We would incorporate a team plan in terms of study vs play, exercise, and strategic game play time.
Every day in the morning we will set personal goals that are tracked in an Agile format. S.M.A.R.T goals will also be incorporated. We would then stand up in a circle (called a Scrum) and state our progress from yesterday and our goals for today in order to accomplish our “sprint”, which is a weekly race to more weekly goals. S.M.A.R.T. goals help make goals obtainable and realistic so we can assess our game play.
I feel its also worthwhile to have watch parties where we watch or listen to poker strategy videos and such. I have a collection of quite a number of Poker books too that we can use as a book club option. We can talk about strategy and such using a white board and a group discussion environment using the virtual office software.
In summary, I feel this is a real legitimate way to laser focus your Texas Hold’em game and to provide you the necessary group support to accomplish your own personal poker goals.
